The College of Business Administration and Management (ESADE) was given this Thursday the first award in the XIII edition of the CFA Research Challenge, a competition of financial analysis which is organized by and managed by the CFA Society Spain, in which a total of more than 50 students from the best universities and business schools in Spain battled on the podium to be able to represent Spain in the regional phase, against teams from all of Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. ESADE, whose analysis was the best as valued by the judges, reclaimed the first place which they obtained the previous year, by conducting an informed analysis of investment over Indra. The team was formed by the alumni Alexander Maier, Francisco Jose Vargas, Charles Felice Oliver, Ruhi Rahtekar, and Maximillian Alexander Ghaffar, who will represent Spain in the final of EMEA in Dublin on the 4th and 5th of April. If they win in this phase, they will compete in the global final on the 27th of April in Kuala Lumpur, Malasia. The second place this year was for the alumni of the Master MEMFI from the National University of Education at a Distance, (which ties for fourth place in the historical list of winners with the Institute of Stock Market Studies), while the bronze medal went to the Eada Business School. The other three institutions which completed the finalist positions were for the school Ceste, from Zaragoza, and the IE Business School.
